By 2025, the share of Ilim Group’s board deliveries to the southwest of the People’s Republic of China will increase three-fold from 5% to 16%.

The sale is subject to regulatory approval in Russia and is not easy to obtain. Austrian Mondi's deal to sell the plant in Russia was rejected by the government, which is demanding a 50% discount on the price of the asset.
Ilim Group has successfully completed the first water run of the XcelLine kraft linerboard machine (KLB machine) – the key equipment of the company’s new KLB Mill in Ust-Ilimsk, Russia. A start-up of the KLB machine is scheduled for Q2 2023.
