i4F has acquired Beaulieu International Group's portfolio of rigid-core and LVT patents, comprising more than 100 individual assets. The transaction includes B.I.G.'s DreamClick installation technology, which will be integrated into i4F's locking innovations cluster. Details of the acquisition were announced by i4F, a provider of patents and technologies to the flooring industry.
The purchase expands access and freedom-to-operate for i4F's existing licensees under B.I.G.'s established patents. B.I.G. stated that the move allows it to focus resources on developing next-generation flooring technologies. i4F's CEO John Rietveldt noted the acquisition strengthens the strategic partnership between the two companies and enhances the value of i4F's licensing platform.
