This will reinforce Arctic Paper’s position as Europe’s leading supplier of FSC-certified fine paper. During 2005, Arctic Paper will be launching several new products, and the investments made in 2004 will now benefit the market. To compete on the market for coated paper, Arctic Paper has chosen to make investments in production of Arctic the Volume, something which is clearly evident in the new paper. It is whiter, has an improved printing surface and is available in more online grammages than before. Upgrading Arctic the Volume is also a natural part of Arctic Paper’s environmentally conscious business strategy. All the grammages are FSC certified.Arctic Paper already has four FSC-certified uncoated qualities of the book and design fine paper Munken: Munken Print 15 and 18 and Munken Print Extra 15 and 18. FSC is an independent organisation founded in Toronto in 1993 on the initiative of environmental organisations, foresters, indigenous peoples’ organisations and environment certification organisations from 25 countries.
