Arctic Paper pledges support for British environmental inititaive

Feb 09, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Arctic Paper has pledged its support to the British National Association of Paper Merchants so called Two Sides initiative, which was launched in October last year to address common misconceptions surrounding paper and the environment, Papernet reported.
"We are delighted to lend our support to the Two Sides initiative, which reflects our business philosophy for sustainable development and the protection of our environment," said Arctic Paper UK Managing Director, Gary Colyer.

Arctic Paper's Munkedals mill is one of the most environmentally friendly paper mills in the world. It has an on site Environmental Center, which is unique in its field, and utilises the water that comes of the mill which is so clean visitors can drink it.
Arctic Paper has been working since 2003 to FSC certify its coated and uncoated products, and so far all its standard qualities of Amber, Arctic, Munken, and Pamo are available as FSC certified.
