Bowater declares quarterly dividend of $0.20 per common share

The board of directors of Bowater Incorporated declared on May 21, 2007 a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per common share payable on July 2, 2007, to holders of record at the close of business on June 11, 2007. Simultaneously, Bowater's subsidiary, Bowater Canada Inc., declared a quarterly cash dividend to holders of its exchangeable shares in the same amount with the same record and payable dates.
Bowater Incorporated, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, is a leading producer of coated and specialty papers and newsprint.
