Bratsk pulp-and-paper mill boosts output 22%
Bratskkompleksholding, a major Russian pulp-and-paper in Irkutsk region, increased production 21.8% year-on-year to 5.05 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2002, a regional government official told Interfax.
The mill produced 1.4 million cubic meters of commercial wood in the nine months, up 3.5% year-on-year; 17,100 cubic meters of lumber, which it did not produce last year; 92,400 cubic meters of plywood, down 1.3%; and 338,800 tonnes of commercial pulp, up 16.8%.

Bratskkompleksholding is a division of forestry company Ilim Pulp Enterprise. The mill makes pulp, cardboard for the flat layers of corrugated cardboard and processed wood products; it also has auxiliary chemical and wood chemical production facilities.
