Nov 26, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. CFO Rune Gjessing leaves Norske Skog. He has been employed by Norske Skog since 2002, and has been a member of the corporate management since 2007. He has been responsible for strategy, investor relations and for the business units outside Europe, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

“I have worked with major change processes and many complex transactions. Norske Skog is now more focused around its business systems, and therefore, time is now ripe to explore other challenges after many years in the same company,” says Rune Gjessing.

Efforts to find his successor are underway. CEO Sven Ombudstvedt will in addition serve as CFO until a replacement is found.
