Jun 08, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Carter Holt Harvey confirmed that its forest sale process is still continuing as planned, contrary to recent market rumours. “Our process is very much on track and we expect to be able to update the market in July as we have said previously,” said Carter Holt Harvey Chief Executive Officer Peter Springford. “We are very comfortable with the quality and number of bidders currently undertaking due diligence. The sizeable portfolio of forests and the quality of the process we are running has attracted a diverse range of parties from a number of countries.” Carter Holt Harvey is currently exploring options for sale of 95,000 hectares of forest, approximately one third of its total New Zealand estate by size.
