The Chilean panel manufacturer Celulosa Arauco y Constitución will expand its industrial operations in Brazil, by acquiring around 100 000 hectares of land, ITTO reported. This area would include around 35 000 hectares of plantations in Paraná state. The company is seeking a joint venture with Stora Enso Oyj, to acquire more forest land and a sawmill.
