Jan 31, 2008. /Lesprom Network/. DLH has acquired Palma Byggrossisten AB in Sundsvall, Sweden, in accordance with stock exchange announcement of 13 December 2007. The Swedish competition authorities have raised no objections to the acquisition, and all conditions for completing the transaction have therefore been satisfied, announced DLH. Palma Byggrossisten AB, which is ideally positioned on the Swedish distributor market for sheet materials in the northern part of Sweden, generates annual revenue of approximately DKK 100 million (approx/ $20 million) and will further consolidate DLH’s market position in the Nordic countries. Palma Byggrossisten AB will be incorporated into DLH's Timber & Board Division, reporting to the group's Swedish subsidiary Karl Ljungberg AB. The DLH Group is one of the world's major timber wholesalers and a leading Danish building materials distributor.
