This time the company have opted for two new Salvador Superpush 200 Optimising Crosscutting Systems and two further Altendorf F45 Sliding Table Panel Saws. These will complement the two Altendorf machines supplied by Daltons Wadkin a few months earlier and together with the Crosscuts provide additional capacity, accuracy and speed to Westbridge’s production processes.
To maximise working efficiency both Salvador machines were specified with automatic outfeed collecting planes – a rotating inclined table collects the cut material and ejects it from the machine pre-stacked ready for the operator while a waste trapdoor removes off-cuts from the line.
The new machines were installed by Dalton Wadkin engineers earlier this year and are now in full production.
