Domtar achieves FSC certification at four additional paper mills

Its coated groundwood mill in Columbus, MS, and uncoated freesheet mills in Hawesville, KY, Kingsport, TN, and Marlboro (Bennettsville), SC are now FSC-certified.

Its coated groundwood mill in Columbus, MS, and uncoated freesheet mills in Hawesville, KY, Kingsport, TN, and Marlboro (Bennettsville), SC are now FSC-certified, as the company informed Lesprom Network.
The number of FSC-certified Domtar sites now exceeds 40, and includes 11 paper mills, 3 market pulp mills, 14 off-site converting operations, and regional replenishment centers located across its North American manufacturing footprint. Chain-of-Custody certification is a rigorous tracking system that identifies the origin of fiber used in certified products under FSC.
