Its coated groundwood mill in Columbus, MS, and uncoated freesheet mills in Hawesville, KY, Kingsport, TN, and Marlboro (Bennettsville), SC are now FSC-certified, as the company informed Lesprom Network. The number of FSC-certified Domtar sites now exceeds 40, and includes 11 paper mills, 3 market pulp mills, 14 off-site converting operations, and regional replenishment centers located across its North American manufacturing footprint. Chain-of-Custody certification is a rigorous tracking system that identifies the origin of fiber used in certified products under FSC.
