Gould Paper Corporation expands into Brazil

Jun 10, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Gould Paper Corporation announced a further expansion of Gould’s international operations. Sandra Bisker has been appointed Market Development Manager-Brazil for Price & Pierce.
Harry E. Gould, Jr., President and CEO of Gould Paper Corporation stated: “Gould, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Price & Pierce, has been in the Brazilian and South American markets for two decades. Our belief is that South America, particularly Brazil, is a dynamic, robust and rapidly growing market. We, at Gould, are increasing our commitment and presence in these markets by the appointment of Sandra”.
Bob Weill, President of Price and Pierce stated: “We’ve established ourselves as an effective distribution channel into Brazil for a wide range of publishing and commercial print papers. Sandra is a welcomed addition to our team. She will help us continue to identify new opportunities and strategies and to capitalize on those opportunities as the Brazilian market evolves”.
Sandra Bisker, in her new position, will continue to reside in Sao Paulo. She has over ten years’ experience in the Brazilian paper market, having spent most of her career with Votorantim/VCP. In her last position before joining Price & Pierce, she served as a Regional Business Manager for FIBRA-KSR, a Votorantim owned paper merchant. Sandra holds an MBA degree from BSP-Business School Sao Paulo, and a BA degree from ESPM.
