Hampton Affiliates has announced the temporary curtailments of both Morton Lumber Co., and Randle Lumber Co., commonly referred to as Cowlitz Stud Mills, starting the week of August 28 and continuing through the Labor Day holiday. A company spokesman said ongoing log exports from the Pacific Northwest have impacted the availability of competitively priced raw materials when compared to the price of finished lumber products. He said the mills will resume production as logs become available
