The Supervisory Board of the Heinzel Group appointed Kurt Maier as new CEO of Heinzel Holding GmbH. Kurt Maier, currently spokesman of the Management Board of the group company Zellstoff Pöls AG, will assume his new role with effect from the next general meeting on 31 March 2016.

Dec 22, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. The Supervisory Board of the Heinzel Group appointed Kurt Maier as new CEO
of Heinzel Holding GmbH. Kurt Maier, currently spokesman of the Management
Board of the group company Zellstoff Pöls AG, will assume his new role with
effect from the next general meeting on 31 March 2016, as the company says in
the press release received by Lesprom Network.
On the same day, the current CEO Alfred Heinzel will withdraw from the
operational business and join the Supervisory Board.
The Supervisory Board will decide on the successor of Kurt Maier at
Zellstoff Pöls AG soon.
The Heinzel Group, which is united under the Heinzel Holding umbrella,
ranks with its industrial locations Zellstoff Pöls AG, Laakirchen Papier AG
(both Austria) and AS Estonian Cell (Estonia) among the largest producers of
market pulp and magazine paper in Central and Eastern Europe.
