Nov 04, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. The negotiations held by Indian ITC to acquire Rayalseema Paper ended in failure, Economic Times reported. Andhra Pradesh state government has been trying to revive the paper enterprise and started the negotiations with ITC. According to a source the negotiations failed due to the unsuitable location of the enterprise which causes the shortage of raw materials. Rayalseema Paper is a medium-size Indian company producing printing and writing paper. The enterprise has not been operating for the recent few years. The production capacities of the enterprise are 40-50 thousand tons of paper/yr.
