In first quarter 2006 Malteks profit amounted to LVL 50 000 ($91 000) on sales of LVL 1.6 million ($2.9 million)
Company’s director Aivars Einauss noted that it’s not for a while yet to discuss 2006 results because the situation in Germany, which is the largest export market for Latvian furniture, is rather difficult.
