Mar 11, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. International Paper received a $250,000 rapid outreach grant from the Ohio Department of Development on Monday, March 10, informed Lima Ohio news.
The grant will help acquire and install machinery and equipment to support an expansion, Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher said. The plant manufactures food and drink containers for fast-food companies. Sales from the Kenton facility exceeded $109 million in 2007.
The machinery and equipment to be purchased includes: a state-of-the-art printing press; a robotic finished goods handling system; 3000 amp transformers; and related equipment.
International Paper is a global forest products, paper and packaging company with primary markets and manufacturing operations in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia, complemented by xpedx, an extensive North American merchant distribution system.
