Japan Pulp and Paper announced organizational changes, effective as of April 1, 2016. The Printing & Communication Paper Sales Division to be restructured and renamed the Printer & End User Sales Division. The Recovered Paper Business Division and the Environment & Resources Division to be merged and the new entity named the Raw Materials & Environmental Business Division.

The Secretarial Affairs & Public Relations Office to be restructured and its name changed to the Secretarial Affairs Office and its public relations functions transferred to a newly established Public Relations Office.
The Printing & Communication Paper Sales Division to be restructured and renamed the Printer & End User Sales Division. The functions of the Communication Paper Sales Department to be transferred between the Paper Merchant Sales Division and the Functional Materials Division, which is to be renamed, the Functional Materials & Communication Paper Sales Division.
The Recovered Paper Business Division and the Environment & Resources Division to be merged and the new entity named the Raw Materials & Environmental Business Division.
