Japanese Daio Paper orders a complete paper machine by Voith

Daio Paper Corporation at Shikoku Chuo city in Ehime prefecture, Japan has entrusted Voith Paper with the supply of their new PM 10 production line on turn key basis comprising erection, and supervision for commissioning and start up. The layout of the machine includes latest technology based on the proven one platform concept. At a machine speed of up to 1 800 m/min max. and a wire width of 8 100 mm, a wide variety of top quality woodfree Ultra LWC (Bitokoshi), LWC and MWC glossy and matt grade papers in the basis weight range from 38 to 105 g/m2 can be produced.
The start-up of the PM 10 is planned in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
The supply of the production line 10 for Daio Paper is the first order for a complete unit for a Japanese customer after several years. This success is the result of the good cooperation between Voith Paper Heidenheim, Germany and Voith Paper IHI, Japan.
