Group sales totalled Euro 363 million, compared to Euro 302 million in 2009. The company also said the 1Q sales were about 30% ahead of a year ago, as TTJ reported. “The economic outlook is generally positive and we expect a signficant increase in sales for the remainder of the year,” said Klenk It said roundwood price escalation would be a challenge in the next few months. Total production output in 2010 was up 7.5% to 2.1 million cubic metres, but the sharp increase in raw material prices impacted the gross profit margin.
