SCA is gaining a new manager, Kristina Enander, currently Assistant Production Manager at the Ortviken paper mill, is succeeding Alvar Andersson at year-end as head of the business unit, the company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. Kristina, 40, holds a degree in chemical engineering and has worked for SCA since 1993. She has worked at the Ortviken paper mill since 1995 in various positions, mainly in production. “I am pleased and proud of the confidence shown in me,” says Kristina Enander. “We are facing difficult challenges in terms of the market, profitability and costs. We need to work with developing operations, while concurrently reducing costs. A safe plant is one of my priorities, as well as the environmental responsibility we have as a major industry in the region.” Kristina Enander assumes her new position on 1 January 2009.
