Aug 21, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. In first half 2006 money turnover of sawmill Vika Wood (Latvia) was LVL 17.2 million ($31.9 million), up 9.5% year-on-year, enterprise’s director Andris Krecers said. He attributed turnover growth to increase of sales volume and favourable situation at the sawnwood market. He didn’t indicate first half profit. In 2006 Vika Wood plans to increase its turnover a little. Andris Krecers forecasts second half year results at the level of the first six months. In 2005 Vika Wood profit was LVL 375 400 ($695 500) on turnover of LVL 33.2 million ($61.5 million).
