Mar 18, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Condat Management has called a meeting with employee representatives for
next March 22 to discuss the restructuring plan for the company. This plan
includes the closure of line 6, with a production capacity of 130,000 tons, and
the extinction of the PROGIL pension scheme. The decision is the result of
Condat’s poor economic performance, as the company said in a press release
received by Lesprom Network.
Condat Management will provide the required information to the employee
representative organs and employees will be kept informed through the meetings
that are held. Employee representatives will be asked to initiate consultation
on a plan of voluntary redundancies.
The company will use all means possible, including the help of firms
specialized in outplacement services, to find solutions adapted to each
employee’s situation.
