Sep 27, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Production will halt at Metsä Fibre's Joutseno pulp mill to facilitate annual maintenance work during week 40. The shutting down of normal production processes will proceed starting on September, 29, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Maintenance work will be performed during the stoppage by the mill's own personnel as well as by some 500 employees of our cooperation partners.

A gradual restart of production operations will commence on October, 7.
