Munksjö sells its packaging business
Jun 13, 2011. Munksjö AB has decided to sell its packaging business to the Norwegian packaging company Tommen Gram Folie® AS. The transaction is expected to be completed by August 31 this year.
Jun 13, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Munksjö AB has decided to sell its packaging business to the Norwegian packaging company Tommen Gram Folie® AS, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The transaction is made as an asset deal covering the whole of the Norwegian unit (Munksjö Inpak AS) and parts of the Swedish unit (Munksjö Inpak AB). Munksjö will keep a large printing machine in Ed, Sweden to ensure the growth and development of the Spantex business in Billingsfors, Sweden.
Net sale for the divested parts was about SEK 60 million ($9.5 million) in 2010. The transaction is expected to be completed by August 31 this year.
