Apr 15, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Stora Enso has appointed Per Lyrvall as the new General Counsel of the Company and secretary to the Board of Directors effective from 1 June 2008. He will report to CEO Jouko Karvinen and be based in Sweden. Jyrki Kurkinen will retire in accordance with the general agreement on retirement of Stora Enso executives at the end of 2008. He will serve as Senior Advisor to the Company from 1 June until his retirement. Stora Enso is an integrated paper, packaging and forest products company producing newsprint, magazine paper, fine paper, consumer board, industrial packaging and wood products.
