Jun 19, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Indonesian forestry company Perum Perhutani, the world’s largest teak producer, has achieved its third FSC certification of the year and the fifth in the past eight months, as TTJ reported.
The Ciamis district in Java, which comprises 30,000 ha of plantation rich in teak recently joined two districts each in March and November, bringing the total of Perhutani forest now FSC certified to 133,000 ha.
