Polish Pfleiderer Grajewo 2004 consolidated net profit up 33.2% year-on-year
Jun 14, 2005. The consolidated net profit of Polish chipboard manufacturer Pfleiderer Grajewo SA, a subsidiary of German wood-based products maker Pfleiderer, increased by 33.2% year-on-year to 82.4 million Polish zloty ($25.6 million) for 2004.

The consolidated net profit of Polish chipboard manufacturer Pfleiderer Grajewo SA, a subsidiary of German wood-based products maker Pfleiderer, increased by 33.2% year-on-year to 82.4 million Polish zloty ($25.6 million) for 2004, the company's audited financial statement shows.
The company's pre-tax profit rose to 102.1 million zloty ($31.8 million) from 88.1 million zloty ($27.4 million).
Pfleiderer Grajewo boosted its sales revenue to 634.3 million zloty ($197.4 million) from 552.8 million zloty ($172 million). Its operating profit grew to 96.1 million zloty ($29.9 million) from 86.1 million zloty ($26.8 million).
Pfleiderer Grajewo, formerly known as Zaklad Plyt Wiorowych, was set up in 1974 and made a debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 1997. The company, which currently runs plants in Grajewo, northeastern Poland and in Wieruszew, western Poland, plans to open a chipboard factory, currently under construction, in Russia in 2006, according to the company's website.
