Moscow Mar, 23. /Lesprom Network/. Production by Russian Ust-Ilimsky (Irkutsk region, Russia, Ilim Pulp corporation) will increase production 3.5% to 630 thousand tons. In 2005 Ust-Ilimsky timber industry enterprise will modernize the boiler in order to increase market production. In 2004 pulp production increased 4.4% to 663.7 thousand tons, market pulp – up 3.3% to 608.7 thousand tons compared to 2003. Market bleached pulp production reached 547.8 thousand tons, unbleached market pulp – 60.9 thousand tons. In 2004 more than RUR 55 million were invested in environment-protection projects, around RUR 10.2 million – for the fulfillment of the industrial safety program.
