Demand for recovered paper for export remains very brisk and is diverting large volumes away from the domestic market, EUWID pulp and paper reported. Converters in France who want to source recovered paper must adjust to the trend in export prices in order to guarantee their supply of recovered paper. However the mark-ups in prices varied from grade to grade: the highest increases were registered for board grades. In the case of higher grades, some merchants stated that price increases were minimal. Yet the February quotes were higher than in January across the board.
