Scanpump has up to now delivered more than 20 pumps of type AFP, BA, NB and BE to Glucholaskie Zaklady Papiernicze recycled paper mill in Glucholazy, located south of Poland. The latest delivery included 8 BE process pumps and some spare rotors, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. The application areas include pumping of pulp from recycled paper in all positions from pulper to fan pumps. The delivered pumps are of type BE, to be used as stock pumps, water pumps and fan pumps with ESDF impeller. The latest generation BE process pumps with its high efficiencies will help optimize the operation and reduce the energy consumption at the mill. The BE pumps are installed on free standing baseplates, Scanpump System PMI, which will reduce the installation cost and at the same time create a better working environment with minimized noise and less vibrations. Stefan Berntsson, Key Account Manager at Scanpump and Wojciech Pióro, Scanpump’s local agent in Poland, explains that previous year’s good cooperation as well as thorough technical support during process evaluation, calculation of pumps and pipes etc. contributed to making Scanpump the preferred supplier to this project. The mill has 5 paper machines for different tissue paper production. The production is based on recycled paper.
