Jul 15, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Papierfabrik Scheufelen will increase prices for coated woodfree paper and reels by 8% in all regions, effective with deliveries September, 1st, as PaperAge reported. The company said the price hike is necessary due to continuing increases in raw material and energy prices. Scheufelen, founded in 1855, was acquired by the Dutch company Paper Excellence in May 2011. At the Lenningen site in Germany around 550 employees manufacture up to 300,000 tonnes a year of high quality, coated, wood free premium paper from FSC and PEFC certified pulp.
