Nov 02, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Södra Wood is to open a sales office in China that will be located in Shanghai. The company will be wholly owned by Södra Skogsägarna ekonomisk förening and will consist of a Swedish Board of Directors and a President who will be responsible for operations. The sales office will have three employees, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

"The opening of a sales office by Södra Wood in Kina will facilitate more business since we will expand our market presence and generate more contacts," says Håkan Svensson, President of the business area.

Södra Wood already has a market presence in China and the purpose of the new office is to boost sales of sawn timber.
