Service contract for Profilmatic with Shanying Paper China

Jul 31, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Anhui Shanying Paper Industry Co. and Voith Paper have signed a service contract regarding the Profilmatic cross-direction control at the headbox of PM 1. The agreement comprises three service modules: “Preventive Maintenance”, “Service on Demand” as well as “Emergency Service”.
With the service module “Preventive Maintenance” downtimes can be limited to a minimum. It contains fixed maintenance work for automation equipment with a regularly control and if required substitution of wear parts. The necessary works are either planned by the service engineer together with the customer or defined by the customer himself.
With „Service on Demand“ the purchaser has the possibility to request a service engineer at any time, also beyond the fixed maintenance dates as contracted.
The service agreement is supplemented by the module “Emergency Service”. Thereby, Voith service specialists are on call 24/7 for Anhui Shanying Paper. In case of a question or concern with regard to the automation system they react immediately on the emergency call of the paper mill and eliminate the cause of the problem.
The maintenance agreement applies for one year and includes Profilmatic training for technicians and operators.
Anhui Shanying Paper Industry is based in the city of Maanshan in Anhui province, about 300 km west of Shanghai. The company is the biggest paper and board producer in the Anhui province, with an annual capacity of 500 000 tonnes of kraftliner.
