Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood decreased by 1% in February 2015
Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased in February 2015 amounted to Euro 2 million and was thus 30% lower than in January 2015 and about 1% lower than in February 2014.The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 37%, of wood fuel by about 26% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 18%. On the other hand, the value of purchased pulpwood was 3% higher.

roundwood purchased in February 2015 amounted to Euro 2 million and was thus 30%
lower than in January 2015 and about 1% lower than in February 2014, as the
Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press
release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 37%, of wood
fuel by about 26% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 18%. On the other
hand, the value of purchased pulpwood was 3% higher.
The total value of roundwood purchased in February 2015 was almost 1% lower
than in February 2014. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower
by about 10%. Higher than in February 2014 was the value of purchased wood fuel
(by about 38%), of pulpwood (by about 18%) and of other industrial roundwood (by
30%).
