Slovenia's roundwood purchased increased by 20% in December 2013
Compared to the value of roundwood purchased in November 2013, Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased in December 2013 was on average about 20% higher. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 22%, of wood fuel by almost 20%, of pulpwood by about 5% and of other industrial roundwood by about 38%.

purchased in December 2013 was on average about 20% higher, as the Statistical Office
of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press
release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 22%,
of wood fuel by almost 20%, of pulpwood by about 5% and of other industrial
roundwood by about 38%.
The value of roundwood purchased in December 2013 was on average 172% higher
than the value of roundwood purchased in December 2012, mainly because more
roundwood was purchased than a year ago.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was almost twice as high,
while the value of wood fuel was 176% higher than in December 2012. Much higher
was also the value of purchased pulpwood (by 110%) and of other industrial
roundwood (by 64%).
