Aug 21, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Swedish sawlog prices decreased by 1% in the 2Q 2015 compared to the prior quarter while pulpwood prices increased by 1%. Sawlog prices decreased in all regions, in the Northern Region by 2% and in the Central Region and in the Southern Region by 1% and 3%, respectively, as the Swedish Forest Agency said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Pulpwood prices rose by 1% in the Central Region while the pulpwood prices in the Northern Region and in the Southern Region were unchanged.

When comparing the 2Q 2015 and the same quarter of 2014, sawlog prices rose by 5% and pulpwood prices increased by 2%.
