Chairman Shotbolt commented, “The CPA Officers have accepted Tom’s resignation, stating that Tom made a considerable contribution to the Association over his 20 years with CPA, with the most notable being his ability to reach out and form broad coalitions to respond to evolving environmental and regulatory issues.Tom always sought collaborative solutions with the various stakeholders and we will endeavorto follow this constructive approach as we move forward.”
Chairman Shotbolt continued, “The Executive Committee will assess the organizational needs over the next several months and will begin a search for a new President in early 2015. Until then we are confident that the current staff leadership made up of Gary Heroux, Vice President of Product Acceptance and Jeannie Ervin, Vice President of Administration and Membership, who have over 40 years collectively with CPA, will make the transition as smooth and seamless as possible.”

CPA General Members include 40 of the leading manufacturers of particleboard, medium density fiberboard and hardboard.
