U.S. kraft paper shipments increased by 1.6% in November
Dec 17, 2010. U.S. total kraft paper shipments in November 2010 were 126.6 thousand tons, an increase of 1.6% compared to November 2009, and 1.7% compared to October 2010. Total year-to-date shipments rose 11.0% over last year.

Total year-to-date shipments rose 11.0% over last year. Total inventory was 75.7 thousand tons, as American Forest & Paper Association said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
U.S. paperboard production in November 2010 decreased by 0.6% compared to November 2009, but increased 2.3% from last month. Year-to-date production was up 3.3% over 2009.
The American Forest & Paper Association is the national trade association of the forest products industry, representing pulp, paper, packaging and wood products manufacturers, and forest landowners.
