U.S. printing-writing paper shipments in April down 9% from 2010
May 25, 2011. U.S. total printing-writing paper shipments decreased 9% in April compared to April 2010. All four major printing-writing grades posted decreases compared to last April. U.S. purchases (shipments + imports – exports) of printing-writing papers decreased 5% in April. Total printing-writing paper inventory levels increased 3% compared to March 2011.

All four major printing-writing grades posted decreases compared to last April. U.S. purchases (shipments + imports – exports) of printing-writing papers decreased 5% in April. Total printing-writing paper inventory levels increased 3% compared to March 2011, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
