Unifiber signs contract for pulp mill in South Kalimantan, Indonesia
Feb 27, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. United Fiber System Limited (Unifiber) has announced a fresh contract to build a a bleached hardwood kraft pulp mill in the South Kalimantan province of Indonesia's Borneo island with China's MCC20 Construction. The order value is put at around $ 863 million.

Singapore-based United Fiber System Limited (Unifiber) has announced a fresh contract to build a a bleached hardwood kraft pulp mill in the South Kalimantan province of Indonesia's Borneo island with China's MCC20 Construction. The order value is put at around $ 863 million.
The contract covers building and turnkey delivery of a hardwood kraft pulp mill with an annual capacity of 600 thousand tonnes which will be operated by Unifiber's Indonesian subsidiary PT Marga Buana Bumi Mulia.
Unifiber is active in forestry, wood chips and pulp, construction and property development.
