Nov 10, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Cypriot Vetolex Trading Limited will own 51% of Lesosibirsky saw and timber-processing enterprise N1 (Krasnoyarsk region), Krasnoyarsk Federal Antimonopoly Service spokesperson told Lesprom.ru.
Previously Krasnoyarsk region deputy-governor said that an unnamed ‘Moscow firm close to Rosbank was considering the acquisition’. However the majority stake of Lesosibirsky N1 has almost been sold to Cypriot Vetolex Trading Limited (Cyprus, Limassol). Woodstream LLC (registered in Carson City, Nevada) sold 51% of its 95% stake to Vetolex Trading Limited.
On October, 13 the deal passed preliminary control and was approved by FAS. On October, 27 due to ‘numerous requests from the media’ the regional FAS department announced that the firm involved in the deal is formally independent from Rosbank.
Vetolex Trading Limited participating in the acquisition of the enterprise operates in timber sector, housing sector, wireless communications, as well as cement production. FAS does not rule out the possibility of a ‘complex influence the group may have on the competition in a number of markets of Krasnoyarsk region.’
