Feb 07, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Sonoco today announced that Vicki B. Arthur, vice president, Global Corporate Accounts; John M. Colyer Jr., vice president and general manager, Industrial Products division, North America; and Barry Barry L. Saunders, vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, have been elected corporate officers, according to Harris E. DeLoach Jr., chairman, president and CEO. Vicki B. Arthur was recently named to head Sonoco’s global corporate accounts program which coordinates all aspects of the Company’s business relationship with several of its largest global consumer products company customers. She reports to Charles Sullivan, executive vice president. John M. Colyer Jr. is responsible for the Company’s tube, core and industrial products operations in North America. He reports to Jack Sanders, executive vice president, Industrial. He joined Sonoco in 1983 and has held numerous manufacturing positions at Sonoco in businesses serving industrial and consumer markets. Barry L. Saunders is responsible for all of corporate accounting/financial reporting, the financial shared services center and all business unit finance activities globally. He reports to Charles J. Hupfer, senior vice president and CFO. Saunders joined Sonoco in 1989 and has held a number of positions in finance, treasury and accounting. Sonoco is a $4.0 billion global manufacturer of industrial and consumer products and provider of packaging services.
