Aug 05, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Weyerhaeuser Company appoints Jeanne M. Hillman as vice president and Chief Accounting Officer for the company, effective August 5, 2013. Hillman succeeds Jerald W. Richards, who recently resigned from his position to become CFO at Potlatch Corporation, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

"Jeanne is an experienced leader with tremendous financial expertise," said Patty Bedient, executive vice president and CFO. "The knowledge she gained supporting our businesses for the past three years will serve her well as she expands her role to include the responsibilities of this critical position for the company.

"Jerry has been an outstanding member of the Weyerhaeuser team, and while we are sorry to see him go, we wish him the very best in his new role," Bedient added.

Jeanne M. Hillman was Weyerhaeuser's vice president and controller for operations since 2010. Prior to that role, she served as the company's vice president and chief accounting officer from 2006 to 2010. Hillman joined the company in 1984 and has held various finance positions with the company. Before joining the company, she was employed by Ernst & Young LLP. She is a CPA in the state of Washington.

Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands, began operations in 1900.
