Oct 14, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. West Kelowna Council has approved the Gorman Brothers Lumber company plans for expansion of their planer mill, as ForestTalk reported. The expansion required a Development Variance Permit Application because the expansion will be close to the highway. The West Kelowna Council has placed some conditions on the expansion - mostly in regards to landscaping, form and character of the building along with Geotechnical and Aquatic Ecosystem conditions.
