Apr 06, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Jerry Wannberg has been appointed as Ponsse AB´s Managing Director. The appointment will take effect on June 15, 2009. Wannberg will work parallel with Benny Sondell and gradually take over his duties. Benny Sondell will retire from his operative services on June 15, 2009 and continue as a member of Ponsse AB´s Board of Directors, as the company informed Lesprom Network. Since 2007, Wannberg has been Managing Director of Pan Trading Machinery AB, an earth-moving machine dealer and service provider. From 2004 to 2007 he has been working as a Director of the General Construction and Core Division at Pon Equipment AB, the Caterpillar earth-moving machine dealer in Sweden. Before that, years 1998–2003, he was a Manager of the Forestry Division at Engson Maskin AB, where he also worked as Product Manager and Application Engineer in 1995–1998. The company sold Caterpillar forestry machines in Sweden. “It’s nice to see how sociable the Ponsse atmosphere is, it’s very easy to communicate. Ponsse AB has succeeded well, and the company has a very well functioning organization, which I think are of vital importance in maintaining our customers´ faith in Ponsse.
