May 27, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Ponsse introduces its new PONSSE H77euca harvester head. The harvester head designed for harvesting eucalyptus is being displayed at the Expoforest 2014 fair in Brazil. The PONSSE H77euca is a continuation of the harvester head product family upgrades, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

PONSSE H77euca harvester head is specially designed for efficient harvesting of eucalyptus – without compromises. It has strong feeding and extremely fast cutting: it´s feed power is 5620-6520 lbf (25/29 kN) and feed speed: 18.1–19.7 ft/s (5.5-6 m/s). The geometry and technical features have been chosen to maximize productivity through effective debarking, strong feeding and fast sawing. H77euca is a powerful and robust debarking head, a kit for conventional logging also available.

Durability and easy maintenance have been key factors in the new design. PONSSE H77euca has strong, cast delimbing blades with extended tips for easy picking up of trees. Variable geometry of feed rollers optimize the feeding.

PONSSE Opti control system offers the ultimate features to suit the H77euca best for each working conditions and operator preferences. The settings are easy through PONSSE Opti4G or Opti2 control system.
