U.S. containerboard production in February up 2% year-over-year
U.S. containerboard production in February 2014 decreased 8% from January and was 2% higher compared to the same month last year. The month-over-month average daily production increased 1.9%.

production in February 2014 decreased 8% from January and was 2% higher
compared to the same month last year. The month-over-month average daily
production increased 1.9%, as the American Forest & Paper Association said
in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Shipments for February were 2,692.1 tons, representing 151.7 billions of
square feet. The containerboard operating rate for February increased 1.8
points from January, from 94.6% to 96.4%.
