Pratt Industries is expanding its Rockwall facility by approximately 346 thousand square feet, bringing the total building size to approximately 736 thousand square feet, according to the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation.

The expansion represents a $90 million capital investment and is expected to create 100 new jobs at the Rockwall Technology Park campus, where Pratt initially opened its state-of-the-art corrugating facility on approximately 30 acres in 2017.

Anthony Pratt, Executive Chairman of Pratt Industries, stated that the growth of the Rockwall box plant will bring advanced technology and increased capacity directly to customers while complementing the company's existing manufacturing, recycling, and transportation network across Texas and the region.

Construction and equipment installation timelines for the expansion are expected to proceed in phases, with full operations anticipated following completion of the new corrugator line and facility enhancements.

The expansion reinforces Pratt's long-term commitment to the Rockwall community and further solidifies the city's position as a regional hub for advanced manufacturing and sustainable industry.

Pratt Industries is a producer of 100% recycled containerboard and the fifth largest corrugated packaging company in the United States.
